REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Entity: DEVI DHAAM LAUA SEWA FOUNDATION (Section 8 Company)

At DEVI DHAAM LAUA SEWA FOUNDATION, we deeply appreciate your support for our social welfare initiatives. As a non-profit organization, we rely on voluntary donations to execute our projects. To ensure transparency and legal compliance, we maintain the following Refund and Cancellation Policy:

1. GENERAL REFUND TERMS

- Non-Refundable: All donations made through our website, UPI, or bank transfer are considered "Irrevocable Gifts." Once a donation is successfully processed, it is generally non-refundable.

- Purpose-Driven: Donations are immediately allocated to various charitable projects (Education, Health, or Rural Development). Therefore, reversing a transaction is not feasible after the funds have been committed to a cause.

2. EXCEPTIONS (TECHNICAL ERRORS)

We only consider refund requests under the following extreme circumstances:

- Duplicate Transactions: If a donor's account is debited twice due to a technical glitch in the payment gateway.

- Unauthorized Use: If a donation was made using a stolen or unauthorized credit/debit card (subject to a police report or bank verification).

- Incorrect Amount: If a donor accidentally enters an extra zero (e.g., Rs. 10,000 instead of Rs. 1,000), provided the error is reported immediately.

3. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

If you meet the criteria for a refund, you must follow this procedure:

- Timeline: The refund request must be sent via email within 7 days of the transaction date.

- Email: Send your request to devidhamtrust@gmail.com with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Transaction ID]".

- Documentation: You must attach a copy of the donation receipt and a screenshot/proof of the bank debit.

4. TAX RECEIPT (80G) COMPLIANCE

- If a donation receipt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act has already been issued to the donor, no refund can be processed under any circumstances, as the donor has already claimed or is eligible to claim tax benefits on that amount.

5. REFUND TIMELINE

Once a refund request is approved after internal verification:

- The amount will be refunded to the original payment source (Bank Account/Card/UPI) used during the transaction.

- It may take 7 to 10 working days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on the bank's processing time.

- Any transaction fees or convenience charges levied by the payment gateway will be deducted from the refund amount.

6. CANCELLATION OF MONTHLY DONATIONS (SIP)

If you have signed up for a recurring/monthly donation (SIP), you can cancel your subscription at any time by notifying us 15 days before the next scheduled debit.
